Ramayana Ballet Performance is the main program of art and culture of Java performed at this place, besides dangdut performance etc.

The beautiful dance of Ramayana is performed on the Purawisata Open Air Stage every evening since 1975. With 600 seats, the audience could enjoy the most romantic tragedy of Rama and Shinta ever told; it is about the fight between the good and evil. The show begins at 08.00 PM until 09.30 PM, or after the guests had their dinner at Gasebo Garden Restaurant.
