Began from his habbits to observe his father's activities as a sculpture artist, Alderin Emor Mungkid developed his art talent. Jakarta was his first background in formal education (TK, SD and SMP), then he moved to Manado and then Jogja to continue his study in Fakultas Seni Rupa ISI, Jurusan Seni Murni.

His favor in painting is shared with the others, by lecturing fine art in Pusat Pengembangan Anak (Children Improvement Center) with Compasion International and Teruna Bangsa school (SD, Play grup and TK). For Emor, his knowledge and science he had must also be a learning lessons for other people.
His painting is generally a reflection or notion upon common life of human kind. Basic principles inside the situational life becomes the ground and idea in Emor's paintings.

For instance, "Worse the Animal" tells us about human being who becomes "worse than the animal" without any consciousness in the actions. Also as personal notion "In Our Pathway" describes the friction of human being as a personal to be maximum. In the path way of life a man must make a choice whether he has been influenced by the past or has has to make up his mind to make a changing future.

Emor has been participating in many exhibitions, Pameran Kelompok at Taman Budaya Sulawesi Utara, communal exhibition Prasidha at Benteng Vredeburg Yogyakarta, communal exhibition Artists of Yogya, Surabaya and Manado at Taman Budaya Manado and some researches on curatorial in contemporer fine art in Indonesia (a case study of Cemeti Art House Yogyakarta).
