On the list of Indonesian Artist, Ign. Pamungkas Garjito is enlisted on top of Indonesian Sculpture. His artworks are collected by foreign collectors as well as domestic ones. He also participates in various exhibition, by himself or with other artists, in Indonesia or abroad.

His abroad exhibitions were as such: Painting and Sculpture Exhibition 2003 in Association Manila Education and Culture Attache with Letters and Fine Art Faculty Sebelas Maret University Indonesia in Manila, in 1980 Festival Contemporary Asian Art Show 1980 Asean Artist Exhibition Part II, at Fukuoka Art Museum Japan. Whilst some local exhibitions were countless. One of awards achieved were from Wendy Sorensen Memorial Fund New York, for his sculpture.

Then Garjito lets himself play with color on his sculpture, logic in statueing is applied in logic in painting by giving color on statue, as seen in his work entitled "Sebuah Tanda". His last artworks are a new perspective as his attitude to release himself from previous guidelines in art, as he does not want to be categorized in one single visual language. Garjito's world of sculpture is a small window to observe world of Indonesian scuplture.
