Dirix Art Gallery was established in 1991 by Helfi Dirix with vision as facilitator and mediator to the improvement of art, modern, and contemporer; to preserve Affandi's artworks and to make Affandi's popular in the society.

The gallery was initially a present for Dirix's grandfather, Affandi. However, this gallery is not only collecting the Affandi's, but also another artists' artworks. Dirix Art Gallery wants to support in space for the young artist to make their exhibitions.

The events held in this gallery are exhibitions in painting and sculture. There are several important events in Dirix Art Gallery, such as gathering exhibition of painting from ISI's lecturers "Old and New", sculpture exhibition "Out Door, Sculpture In Freedom", etc.
