This ceremony aims at requesting the welfare for the baby and expecting the baby to be able to walk soon. The set of offerings include:
- For noble family: yellow rice, water mixed with various fragrant flowers, seven types of delicacies, cassava cakes, jenang baro-baro (baro-baro porridge), rice with gudangan (mixed steamed vegetables with grated coconut and chili peppers), and jenang abang putih (red and white porridge).
- For common people: tumpeng, gudangan, red and white porridge, baro-baro porridge, and jajan pasar (various snacks usually available at traditional market).

This ceremony is related to another occasion, turun tanah (means: down to the earth) ceremony which introduces the child touching the earth for the first time. This ceremony is performed during day time, attended by the mother, father, aunts, other relatives, and close friends.
