Without ignoring the significant meanings of the artists’ messages and intent that have been conveyed through the range of works presented here (spiritual, political, archaic, up to those of the everyday culture), the re-presentation of both the gigantic and the minuscule works in the “Kuota!” exhibition is meant to trigger our perceptual awareness to respond to the contemporary visual culture in a profounder manner.
The opening ceremony of the exhibition will held on Saturday, 19 March 2011, 19:30, and the exhibition will last until 7 May 2011. Two public programs that will be held during the exhibition are: 1) A lecture about phenomenology by Franki Budi Hardiman, Thursday, 14 April 2011, 16:00; and 2) The curator’s presentation about the exhibition, Friday, 15 April 2011, 16:00.
